love me some eric church but what i love more is how songs bring back memories and smiles and maybe tears. It makes you think of the past and wonder about the future.
Seems like every song (expecially county) has at least one line in it that just "fits"
like those "fly over states" sometimes if gives me goosebumps because it may just be a fly over state to you but to me these miles and miles of cornfields are what i call home
or "dreaming about babies" some of the words in that song gets me everytime!!
then we make the song associates.
like when you hear "truley madely deeply" ...that takes me back to 5th grade dances.
and there is one song that i hear and can never remember the name of it but i get visions of that crazy fun at my bachelorette party.
all in all music is a melody that sounds like a memory. Memories that otherwise may be lost in the past
